He'll be glad to take this at her pace, so long as she is talking to someone. He wouldn't call himself the best at this, just in the right place at the right time.
That's a positive way to look at it. And as much of a headache as those powers must have been, I'd almost be sorry to lose them myself.

The way the guy looked at him, like he had never seen anything so scary in his life had Yoon-sung feel two different things. One was a sick sense of satisfaction, of focused anger and glee knowing that the guy was finally realizing what fear was like. The other was the dread of knowing he could feel that without flinching.

Just school. Jump the whole 'Japanese college entrance exams' thing by coming to America instead. I'd also gotten more interested in the American criminal justice system, my English was always good. It just made sense.

Those are undeniably cool. I think I'm supposed to insert a thing here about 'blah blah no concealed carry of those things in public' but still. Cool.
