Togusa grumbles as he wakes up, he was supposed to be sleeping, it's his day off, and he'd planned to go try something out. All the irritated thoughts go away as soon as he checks his phone, though, and his heart actually skips a beat.

Gentiana? Really? Oh. He hadn't known that she had signed up, but as soon as he thinks it over, the first feeling that breaks through is...happiness.

Thank you. Really, thank you. Do you guys take tips? Or, if not, if there's ever anything that you need in return, don't hesitate to ask. This had to take a lot of work to set up.

At least the birds have some sort of aesthetic quality to them. This isn't artistic at all.

An entire history of still life paintings changed forever. They're messing with things they don't understand.

A church? Really? Not like Togusa can pick the meeting place, but the choice gets an eyebrow raise from Togusa. He's got the profile picture and name of the guy (kid) he's meeting, but other than Drake's apparent familiarity with technology, he's got little else to go on.

At least Togusa has the good sense to show up in civvies and leave the gun in the car. Maybe that was the point of the meeting spot, then? People don't take guns into churches, whether they follow the religion or not. Bad juju.

Togusa casually slides into a pew and bows his head, but he is taking the opportunity to surreptitiously look around at everyone else rather than chat with a higher power.

I've just received this app, but Jim has already send me a pictures of myself at the store and by the bus stop. So far, nothing of me at home or work, but surely there is enough evidence to press charges.

Mr. Hefaz:

I thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. If you wish to help out, the most helpful thing that you can do is to come to the police station and file a formal report. Then encourage as many of your friends and anyone else on the application as possible to do the same.

With the information that we have currently, a formal investigation has not been opened into Retrospec, because we have not enough evidence to provide to the Chief or other ranking officers in the RPD. But if enough citizen complaints come in? Especially with these questionable photographs popping up? We may be able to get some traction.

You may also want to contact Detective Noah Gabranth and Detective Bigby Wolf. They are the higher-rank officers who have been dragged into this, so far. But, since we just got a new group of users, I am also seeing if we've lucked into getting any more officers on the app.

Begin with the privacy complaint. I can tell you the other issues that Retrospec has begun causing, but you may wish to leave them out of your report, because, as I said, they are difficult to prove.

[ Yoon-sung knew that Togusa did not want to know the details of how and who, but he figured that he might at least liked to be kept into the loop of some things. This was going to be a simple little drop of information, but it should impact some of the theories going around. In other words, he did break into the CCTV system for a quick scan of his immediate area before checking out the area around Retrospec. Which means that the results of him not getting any image of the building from the cameras is now being sent on to Togusa.

About mid-morning an anonymous text was sent his way. The phone number can be traced back to a burner number coming from the location of several shops and small little convenience stores that see a lot of day traffic since they sit on a four way to the business district. The text itself is a simple link to a dropbox video which lasts for two inutes. It starts at the nearby streetlights, focusing on traffic, then zooming up to look at where the Retrospec building is suppose to be and showing nothing. No building. No anything to show that a building is there. ]

6/20 - Physical Letter

[A physical note is delivered to the desk, addressed to Officer Togusa's desk at the police department. The outside of the note says that it is from Chloe Bouchard. If and when he opens it, he will find a coded message within.

The code is found in the 'date' of the message, which isn't correct, but if he checks the substitution cipher using the three numbers repeatedly, the message is short and to the point.]

Officer,

I would like to meet at your convenience. It is not time-sensitive, but I have something interesting you will wish to see. Please respond to me using a physical letter to set a date, time and place.

Oh, the spy stuff is getting more intense, but also more fun. It takes Togusa a few minutes, intensely bent over the letter and decoding, before he gets it. He smiles in appreciation before he sends something back.

It looks casual, like any other day, for Togusa to just be hopping out to one of his favorite lunch spots. Especially after Tim's idea of what was 'subtle,' Togusa's strategy is to keep these meetings at places where he goes all the time. It looks too suspicious for him to be popping into a church. But to go to a ramen shop where the owner recognizes him (and appreciates having a uniformed cop eating there a lot?)

Of course he can't be up to anything suspicious. Just meeting a friend for lunch. Honest.

[Togusa has to stare at his phone for a little bit before he can get the control to reply. He said he wasn't going to escalate what Prompto and Dante and Noctis did to Ardyn. He can handle the aftermath of their idea of a joke on his own.]

Noted. Luckily he's of age to own one legally. I can run him through the process to get it registered and see if Retrosepc responds the same way they did to me. Either way, I doubt he has the option to get rid of it. It'll find his way back to him somehow.
