I don't know if anybody's pointed this one out, but while the 45 of you were gone? Everybody here didn't remember you existed. I'm betting the vacation story is a post-script addition by Retrospec to cover their own asses.

Hoboken mentioned it. But I was still a bit worried I was somehow going to get busted down a level for being away so long.

There's no way to ask this without it sounding terrible: Who the hell is Hoboken? I hadn't met him until he's coming to help with an attack in the city while all this was resolving?

Peter Hoboken. He only got the app in July, but he's been around the force a few years. It's not that he keeps to himself, but he's kind of quiet in a reserved sort of way? The whole Retrospec thing hit him kind of hard, I think.

Crap. Well, add him to the list of people who need to get caught up, then.

Want to thank Retrospec for not scooping up any of our senior officers for those missions, so we really need to get our information organized so they can figure out where to go from here.

I'm still not sure I wasn't hallucinating it, but I think I communicated with Matthews a couple weeks ago. He had the app. And then today, he had no idea what I was talking about. The fuck is up with that? Or maybe I did just hallucinate it.

I wasn't gonna mention it, but I ran into him. While the monsters were around and all. And he could see it. Monsters aren't supposed to happen, Togusa why the fuck are you telekinetic now?

And then after everything snapped back, nothing.

Retrospec try to recruit another wave to back us up and it failed?

HA! That's exactly what he'd say!

So I did talk to him. Huh. Strange. Even if it did fail, it was kind of nice to talk to someone from home.
