I actually don't know. It would certainly be one-of-a-kind if we were to find it in this world, so perhaps it would worth a pretty penny? Pun intended.
I haven't experienced a memory with Fynn in it. Whether this is simply because it hasn't happened yet, or he simply was not part of my "past" remains to be seen.
[...Right? Please don't break Togusa's little heart with the idea that maybe Ardyn and Fynn aren't always brothers because they have to be brothers, Ardyn the Healer and Fynn the Barbarian, right?]
I just don't think there would be such a disconnect between the body and the soul.
Follow me on this. So you've got other-Ardyn and other-Fynn. Let's pretend Retrospec is right for a second, okay? They're trying to bring forth those two people by slowly having them take over you two. It's not arbitrary where other-Ardyn and other-Fynn end up.
Most people already look a lot like the people in their memories. Whether this is because Retrospec is trying to tailor the memories to us, make us believe them more? Or it's because other-Ardyn and other-Fynn already look like you and your brother.
There's a connection between the 'ghost' and the vessel.
But maybe that disconnect exists regardless. There's nothing to say that it wouldn't. I certainly don't recall Souji or Yu in any of my memories, nor am I in theirs.
Okay, no, there's nothing to say it wouldn't. It goes back to what Retrospec was saying about the soul being put out of place, and that causing the person to forget. But if there's already a connection between the ghost and the body, then the transfer has to be easier.
Why do I keep finding more support for this theory I hate?
You're not alone in your apprehension. There is something highly discomforting about potentially becoming a person you have no desire to be. Physical changes, mental changes. It seems as if we're on a path that we cannot diverge from.
It still comes down to what we do with it. Even if I get all of this other guy's memories in my brain. I'm not going to stop being me. I can know everything about this guy and decide not to make the same choices he did.
That puts us back to what you were saying not too long ago, that we need to watch out for each other if we begin to drift. Remind each other of who we really are and what is important to us.

But, ah, no this will not change things. I will forever still consider you my son, blood relation or no.
Togusa, the little brother you thought you wanted, and then realized you didn't.
he already has a handful of a little brother, he doesn't need one more

[May as well transition to exactly what it is he's talking about.]
I'm referencing a recent memory I had. I actually gave the coin to Noctis. That text was intended for him.

I'm surprised. Add him in with, you said you and Prompto had shared some things in common?
Why does this keep happening?
no subject
That's a fair question. One that sounds almost purposeful.

But. Don't you mean three? It's you and Fynn and Prompto and Noctis, right?

I mean. It'll have to come, in time, right?
[...Right? Please don't break Togusa's little heart with the idea that maybe Ardyn and Fynn aren't always brothers because they have to be brothers, Ardyn the Healer and Fynn the Barbarian, right?]

[Considering how he's felt in some of his more recent memories, he'd not wish Fynn to be on the receiving end of them, not even in a past life.]
Would that surprise you?
no subject
You two, it's just about impossible to imagine you not being brothers. I can't even picture it. You've got to be.
If you weren't related before, why would you be now?
no subject
[Sorry for that... mental image...Togusa.]
The fact that we are related by blood now is no guarantee that we were before. Is it?

You owe me a cup of coffee.
