Okay. Tell him to bring his mother direct to me or Officer Tenmyouji, the both of us are bi-lingual. I’ve got him here with me, so I can get him up on the situation.

Tell him I'll send somebody past the house for the next few nights. Just a patrol past. However long it takes for us to get this done. Somebody will be keeping an eye out while he's gone.

Don't ask him this next bit. He has fire abilities, doesn't he? I made one too many jokes about somebody shooting fire, I seem to remember he spoke up.

I was considering asking him to use his fire abilities to lure the monsters, but that seems rather cruel now...

Hell. That puts a time limit on us to get this done quickly, then. Correctly, but also quickly. Give a teenager the ability to take matters into his own hands, nobody's allowed to be surprised if he decides to. We get this done right, it won't even come up as a question.

I don't get the impression that he is someone who would go too far.
But I can see him at least using those powers to protect his mother.

Our job is to solve this situation before we, or before he, finds out if he's someone who would or not.

From here, your job is to get all of you out of there safely. Do what you can to alleviate his worries, keep it from being a distraction now, and we'll take care of it when we're back in the city.

Seven hours by bus north.
It's freezing, the people are cagey at best, and I have been trying to stop the rest of this team from eating a fish with arms.

There's auroras here, so we must have gone very far north...
